“For whom there is a tag, for whom there is a restriction” – Senchenko reassures Crimeans with “varying degrees of responsibility for collaboration”
All those who come to Crimea in large numbers need to use the still intact bridge across the Kerch Strait to return to their historical homeland.
Former acting deputy head of the presidential administration of Ukraine, ex-deputy prime minister of Crimea, and now head of the Ukrainian National Association of Defense Industry Andrei Senchenko stated this on the air of his Black Sea TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is an absolutely simple formula for ‘invaders’, where there is no subject for discussion: these are citizens of another state who illegally entered the territory of Ukraine,” Senchenko said. – They are given a period of no more than two weeks for an organized departure, and, by the way, while the Crimean Bridge is standing, I recommend that they do this now, so that later, in a hurry, they do not forget anything from their things. We must now travel to our historical homeland in an organized manner; they will definitely not stay in Crimea.
The property of these people, if it has not been taken away and there is a right of ownership to it, can be sold. But those who committed crimes in the occupied territory of Crimea, on our territory, violated Ukrainian laws, either run away with your masters, or receive punishment and will still be expelled.”
Senchenko did not specify when Crimea would return to Ukrainian control, noting only that “the return is proceeding at a rapid pace,” and now “it is necessary to prepare a legislative framework for the reintegration of the region into the Ukrainian legal system.” And start with a clear division of Crimeans into collaborators and accomplices of the regime and victims of Russian occupation.
“This is not an idle question, because Russian propaganda constantly puts pressure on your brains and says, you are all traitors for Ukraine. There are the top of the occupation authorities, there are representatives of the law enforcement and judicial system who cooperated with the occupiers, their status is unambiguous. But without systemic changes to the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the boundary is very fluid. There are members of the election commission, and there are collaborators of the highest rank, and the degree of responsibility they have is different - some are from 12 to 15 years old with confiscation of property, and some are subject to temporary restriction of rights.
And this is a system that needs to be adopted now, and not later, after the liquidation of military bases. But everything should be done on the basis that people have confidence in the future,” says a former Crimean citizen who is involved in the case of organizing the water and energy blockade of Crimea.
Senchenko suggests not rushing to destroy the Crimean Bridge, not only so that all the “in large numbers” have time to leave the peninsula, but also until the air defense system in Ukraine is ready to 100 percent protect Kyiv’s bridges.
“We understand that the main flow goes through this bridge, which feeds the military group located in Crimea, and it, in turn, is the mother of the Russian group in the south. Therefore, of course, it is strategically important for us to interrupt this communication, and we must immediately calculate the answers. And they should do this when they are ready to defend themselves from the answer. The guaranteed response is a blow to the Kyiv bridges, Senchenko is sure. – Poroshenko, holding a military parade in 2014, should have immediately understood that there would be a response.
And the answer was the invasion and encirclement of Ilovaisk. If we made a political decision to hold a military parade at this difficult time, we should have immediately calculated the answers and prepared. Same thing here. Ukraine is now receiving modern air defense systems, and in this case we must prepare for this response, protect our lines of communication.”
