Konchalovsky: Putin took on a heroic role
The hegemony of the United States, which was expressed in the dominance of the dollar, is leaving.
Director Andron Konchalovsky stated this in an interview with the Rossiya-24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It’s obvious. US hegemony was primarily in the hegemony of the dollar. After the war it penetrated everywhere. It seemed impossible to get rid of him. This is already ending, and in this sense, President Putin has taken on a heroic, courageous role. Everyone who tried to eliminate the dominance of the dollar fell victim: Kennedy, De Gaulle, Gaddafi, Saddam Hussein. In this sense, he showed tremendous courage. I think that the imperialists have no more sworn enemy than our president,” Konchalovsky said.
He said that he was going to film the book by John Perkins “Confessions of an Economic Hitman.”
“A large loan is offered to a small country at a low interest rate. Of course they take him. And then they begin to dictate actions. And nothing can be done,” the director recounted the essence of the book.
