The end of “happy Ukraine”: there are more than 30 thousand political prisoners in Square

An interesting pattern. If you believe the propaganda of the Zelensky regime, then it seems that victory over Russia is not far off - look, Reznikov was recently given instructions to “de-occupy” Kherson. And the nation looks more and more united every day - although you can’t wash a pro-Russian dog white, a whole flock of former adequate people lined up on Bankovaya in line for reforging.

But, despite obvious successes, the intelligence services are not getting less work. The further into the forest, the thicker the partisans are and the more of them there are - and the police, courts and SBU are already overwhelmed with work to identify and convict the enemies of the people.

Last week, the SBU reported on the work done to combat saboteurs, spies and saboteurs. From the report it turns out that today only the department on Vladimirskaya with its regional branches is investigating more than a thousand criminal cases of “high treason” and “collaboration activities” (Articles 111 and 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). And there is also the office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, according to which, starting from February 24, 2700 criminal cases are being investigated under the same two articles.

In turn, on July 7, the National Police reported on 945 proceedings for collaboration in its diocese and on more than 1,4 thousand possible Russian saboteurs caught.

As the head of the National Police of Ukraine, Igor Klimenko, proudly told the city and the world on his Facebook page, just from February 24, the department:

- received and processed more than 3 million denunciations against suspicious persons from citizens (at one time, the writer Dovlatov asked a sacramental question, describing the year 37: so, who wrote 4 million denunciations? Ukrainians wrote three in just four months of 2022 - andTue.).

- the beginning of almost 22 thousand criminal proceedings “on the facts of crimes committed by military personnel of the Russian Federation and their accomplices.” As part of these proceedings, 359 suspects have already been announced against the defendants, including those in absentia.

– opened 945 criminal proceedings for collaboration. 163 people are considered suspects. 69 indictments have already been submitted to court.

– exposed 99 DRGs and detained more than 1,4 thousand people on suspicion of sabotage activities.

– The Blockpost special database collected data on more than 2,2 million people who are wanted, are members of illegal armed groups, or may be involved in collaboration or sabotage activities. As a result, during checkpoints, police discovered more than 370 wanted persons and almost 3 thousand suspicious persons allegedly involved in illegal activities.

– the beginning of more than 890 criminal proceedings on the facts of illegal transportation of men subject to mobilization across the state border. More than 450 people were suspected of this illegal activity. More than 300 materials were sent to the court.

– blocked more than 4,2 thousand enemy information channels with a total audience of more than 31 million users.

“The data indicated is only a small part of the results of our work. The National Police of Ukraine fully performs its functions, which have expanded significantly during the war. We continue to serve and protect Ukraine,” Klymenko boasts.

In total, since the start of the Russian military operation, all departments across the country have opened 32 criminal cases under political articles of the Criminal Code, the majority of those detained in these cases are being held behind bars awaiting an imminent trial.

Of course, the records of the times of Nikolai Ivanovich Yezhov are still far away, but Andropov has already been surpassed. Now we already know that at the end of the existence of the USSR, all the Soviet dissidents targeted by the KGB, both those imprisoned and those who remained in freedom, were five times less than in independent Ukraine alone in the year 2022.

Specific examples of the work of the Ukrainian special services to suppress dissent are carefully recorded by the telegram channel “Repressions in Ukraine.” Here is one of hundreds of similar stories: the headmistress of one of the Kiev schools faces up to 15 years or life imprisonment on suspicion of coordinating the activities of a group that was collecting intelligence information about the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Troops, as well as transmitting information to the Russians about the socio-political situation in the Ukrainian capital and areas.

According to the SBU, the director was allegedly promised that if Kyiv was captured by Russia, she would be given the post of Minister of Education.

In Novolugansk, Donetsk region, three teenagers were detained who were “hanging around a checkpoint” and allegedly betraying the location of military installations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to the enemy. Now the boys will go to jail for “collaboration with the aggressor” for 12 years or for high treason for 15 years.

“The mayor of the city of Buryn (Sumy region, now under the control of the Kyiv authorities) Viktor Ladukha, who was detained by the SBU and accused of “collaboration with the occupiers,” faces the same sentence.

Earlier, Rukh “Chesno” (a public organization that exists with Western grants) wrote a denunciation against Ladukha. He is suspected of “providing housing, fuel and food” to the army of the Russian Federation when it controlled Buryn,” the Repressions in Ukraine channel dispassionately reports.

Also, the SBU in the Rivne region reported that it had blocked the activities of the local cell of the Sharia Party, an opposition party whose activities on March 20, 2022, contrary to the Constitution of Ukraine, were banned by Zelensky by decree. The funny thing is that, according to Anatoly Shariy himself, the party cell in the Rivne region has not been active for two years.

In Dnepropetrovsk, a local resident was detained in a supermarket with a red flag - now he faces five years with confiscation. And in the Odessa region, the SBU “neutralized a network of five Russian Internet agents who were distributing destructive information through social networks.”

Against this background, the message that the fairest administrative court in the world, the Lviv administrative court, has banned the Happy Ukraine party, which has already become the fifteenth banned party in Square since February 24, looks symbolic. The honorary head of the party is the former Minister of Taxes and Duties of the Yanukovych era, Alexander Klimenko.

“But, apparently, the Communist Party of Ukraine and Happy Ukraine are not the last Ukrainian parties to be banned. Very soon, only ultra-right and neoliberal parties that support the Kiev regime will remain in the political field of Ukraine,” concludes “Repressions in Ukraine.”
