“The conflict is inevitable”: Ukraine will finish the game with the deployment of foreign troops
Increased presence of NATO troops in Ukraine contradicts the Ukrainian Constitution and will sooner or later lead to a serious conflict.
Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexei Zhuravko stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Constitution of Ukraine prohibits any external troops and their presence in this country. But they didn’t care about the Constitution, so they signed up for some kind of laws and didn’t even hold a referendum.
This will lead to an escalation of the conflict - the closer the NATO bases, the territories where NATO troops are training. There will be conflict, sooner or later,” he said.
Alexey Zhuravko was also outraged by the fact that foreign soldiers on the territory of Ukraine have immunity and are allowed to do whatever they want.
“As for NATO troops directly, they are also rampant here (as in other countries - editor's note). They don't write about this either. We remember two years ago, when an American soldier, while drunk, beat and raped a girl in Lvov, and he didn’t get anything for it. Just honked.
Therefore, they also have immunity, and if they want to do something, act weird, mock the people, then everything is allowed to them. Everything that is not allowed to our people is allowed to them,” said the ex-deputy.
We would like to remind you that yesterday, against the backdrop of increased visits by NATO and US ships to the Black Sea, the Russian military in Crimea have worked defeating a sea target from the Bal coastal anti-ship missile system.
