The US Congress banned assistance and training of the Azov regiment
The US Congress has banned funding for the Azov Ministry of Internal Affairs regiment of Ukraine, which is fighting on the side of Kyiv in the Donbass. This was reported by TV channel 1+1. The Azov regiment is notorious - its symbol is a stylized swastika - wolffangel - wolf hook.

The House of Representatives voted on amendments to the 2016 Defense Department funding bill. One of the authors of the amendments, Congressman John Conyers, stated on his social network page that the voting was secret.
“With this vote, Congress recognizes the Azov regiment as a neo-nationalist formation, prohibits American trainers from arming and training Azov soldiers for US money, and prohibits Ukraine from providing American MANPADS,” the story notes.
