According to him, “the British do not deserve to have their signs along Crimean roads.” Konstantinov instructed the traffic police and local authorities to remove the signs within a month.

“I, of course, am not against the Ukrainian language, but where have you seen that in Lviv there were signs in Russian or in England. The British have nothing to do here at all. Their “visit” during the Crimean War ended with many cemeteries on the peninsula, we know how much they “love” us,” said the head of parliament.

We would like to remind you that in recent years, the EU project “Diversification and support of the tourism sector of Crimea” has been working on the peninsula under the auspices of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea, which planned to allocate UAH 15 million this year. for the development of the resort industry. Among the activities planned was the installation of 217 poles and 1141 tourist signs in English.
