Konstantinov issued an ultimatum to Ukraine
Ukraine has a chance to save its state, but to do this it needs to recover from Russophobia and punish the organizers of the civil war.
Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov stated this at the International Festival “Great Russian Word”, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, Ukraine should “go through a very difficult path in order to return to the fraternal bosom of the “Russian world.”
“To do this, the coup d’etat must be condemned, all its organizers must be convicted, the referendum in Crimea must be recognized as the inalienable right of Crimeans to reunite with their historical homeland, the special status of Donetsk and Lugansk must be recognized.
All the people who organized the civil war and massacre in the southeast must be convicted, all costs to Donetsk and Lugansk for the destroyed infrastructure, for tens of thousands of killed people must be returned. The persecution of the Russian Orthodox Church and the UOC-MP must stop, a ban should be imposed on state interference in church affairs, and much more must be done.
And only after this does Ukraine, as our fraternal people, have a chance to create its own statehood. Any attempts to circumvent these pressing issues are doomed to failure and fall into an even further quagmire of uncertainty into which the Ukrainian people fell, having fallen ill with this severe Russophobia,” Konstantinov said.
