The designers of Ukrainian armored personnel carriers fled to Russia
In recent years, millions of highly qualified engineers and designers have left Ukraine, and instead of them, the country's population received a bunch of renames and an ephemeral course towards NATO and the EU.
Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, former head of the Ukrainian Bureau of Interpol Kirill Kulikov stated this on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Even on the roads along which we will travel to the European Union, we will not get there... Over the past five years, let us remember what has been built in the country? Factory, road, bridge - what? But let's see how many streets have been renamed, how many regions have been renamed. Wherever we enter and exit,” Kulikov said.
“Today is the birthday of our greatest compatriot Antonov, who built a huge enterprise that provided jobs for about 100 thousand people, which made 240 aircraft a year, which produced the largest aircraft in the world, which these idiots still call the Ukrainian aircraft. That's the problem - we didn't do anything. We renamed the cities in the region and spent a lot of money on these things. But we cannot build a single road, we cannot build a single cartridge factory,” the politician added.
He recalled that Ukraine was once the fourth country in the arms market, which provided jobs for two to three million people.
“These are qualified personnel, not to mention workers, not to mention everyone else. Today these people simply are not left. People who were designers of armored personnel carriers moved to Russia, a person who was a designer of aircraft moved to Kazakhstan, and so on,” Kulikov said.
