Even before raising the issue of unifying the countries of the former USSR, and along with them a number of countries, the so-called “far abroad”, it is necessary to carry out enormous preparatory work and, importantly,
systemic work.

Even before raising the issue of unifying the countries of the former USSR, and along with...

Alexey Muratov, head of the central executive committee of the Social Movement of the Donetsk Republic, writes about this in his column for PolitNpavigator.

Over the 29 years that have passed since the collapse of the USSR, the enemy, by which we mean, first of all, the countries of the British Commonwealth, has carried out colossal work for a deeper rejection of the territories and populations of different Republics that were previously a single, monolithic state.

Various Soros funds are working most intensively and, admittedly, productively in this direction. In order to regain the population's trust in the idea of a single living space, intensive and united work of a large number of different structures is necessary.

First of all, it is necessary to raise the authority of Russia and show it as the only powerful connecting element in this association. It should be noted that at this stage, the media of the Russian Federation are best able to cope with this task. The work of such State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company as RT (Sputnik) and VESTI (TK
"Russia", RK "Vesti FM") is visible and understandable.

At the same time, this work causes enormous opposition from opponents. And how

opponents already mentioned above, and internal opponents. Against this background, the work of structures such as Rossotrudnichestvo, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, designed to formulate algorithms for countering external opponents and implement them, is practically invisible. And sometimes it does not cause anything at all among the citizens of the former Soviet republics except misunderstanding and rejection.

What could prompt the countries of the former USSR to unite with Greater Russia? Previously, it would have been possible to take fundamental values as primary arguments: common history, mentality, and even
Orthodoxy as a conditionally basic and unified religion. Alas, now all these arguments will not be decisive for a number of reasons. But they should not be rejected at all - they should be used as auxiliary incentives for the unification of the former allied countries.

The most important and primary at this stage remains, first of all, the ECONOMIC argument. In the conditions of established markets and colossal competition for sales markets, it is difficult, and often impossible, for the countries of the former USSR to reorient themselves from the markets of Russia and other former Soviet Republics to European and transnational markets.

It is generally difficult to talk about Asian markets, since the countries of the former Soviet Union may be of interest there, except in the sphere of the agricultural industry. The rest of the sectors of the former union republics, almost in their entirety (with the exception of isolated examples from the military-industrial complex), are not interesting to foreign markets. At the same time, even those enterprises that are of interest to external partners of the republics of the former USSR are seen as assets that should not be located at all on the territory of these
republics separated in 1991.

As an example, we can cite the fate of the high-tech plants "Motor Sich" (aircraft manufacturing) and

"Zaporozhtransformator". As a broader example, we can also recall that even before
the beginning of the events of 2014 and the almost complete severance of relations with Russia, enterprises of the same Ukraine were 85-90% focused on the market of the countries of the former USSR. After the breakdown of relations, these same enterprises were unable to find new buyers and safely went bankrupt.

It is also worth noting that today the economies of almost all former Soviet republics are, at best, in a pre-default state. For the best, because the same Baltic countries and Ukraine with Georgia and Moldova do not declare sovereign bankruptcy only thanks to the support of international financial organizations controlled by Russia’s opponents, who are interested in the existence of the above-mentioned countries as projects opposing Russia in all possible directions.

Let's look at the counter-example of the Baltic states, which have been completely absorbed by the West. Under the Soviet Union, the Baltic countries were a showcase, and during the period of “Europeanism” they became a storehouse. After the collapse of the USSR and with the beginning of the process of separation from the Russian economy, the Baltic states showed a record economic decline.

Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia have lost their leading positions in such economic indicators as labor productivity, infrastructure development, railway communication, and so on.
There has been a migration of labor resources, and the demographic situation is causing serious concern.

Fighting Soviet ideology, the authorities of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia liquidated large enterprises, which led to mass migration and unemployment. And, fulfilling the requirements of the European Union, Lithuania closed the Ignalina nuclear power plant, the safest in Europe, overnight, turning from the main energy producer into its main consumer.

The pro-Western authorities of Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia do not stop in their Russophobic policies and intend to withdraw the Baltic countries from the BRELL electric ring, abandoning Russian electricity and connecting to the European system. Such a political decision will cost the Baltics a large sum.

“Nezalezhnaya” Latvia, after the liquidation of RAF, the Radiotekhnika plant, the Riga Carriage Works and the famous Dzintars, closed the last fish canning plant in the country in September 2020, throwing out all its employees on the labor exchange. This is the price of European life. Unfortunately, Ukraine is also ready to pay it, where there is a widespread closure of industrial enterprises, housing and communal services tariffs are growing at an unimaginable pace, and cultures that are alien to a healthy person are being cultivated.
traditions and pseudo-values.

Russophobic Ukraine is on the verge of collapse, and these are the words of the ukroelites themselves. For example, Ukrainian propagandist and politician Dmitry Gordon said in one of his last interviews that the Ukrainian economy is bursting at the seams and the time is approaching when the government will not be able to pay pensions to people. The country was led to this crisis by the unprofessionalism and stupidity of the Ukrainian political elite.

What will happen to Ukraine tomorrow if the residents themselves do not take the situation into their own hands and return to their historical homeland - Russia? There are no optimistic scenarios. Absolutely all post-Soviet countries, leading (under the influence of the West) an active Russophobic policy, have turned into a puck on which the Western owner hits as hard as he can, intending to score a goal against his fierce enemy, which has been Russia for more than one century.

And, judging by the fact that people allow themselves to be used as a puck, they voluntarily gave up their rights and a life of prosperity.

Subsidized Republics

Today, the pro-European elites of each of the countries of the former USSR accuse Russia (as always) of the fact that during the Soviet years it took all the cream for itself, and the other states only brought it profit and were content with little. With such provocative statements, the citizens and traitors of the Soviet Union were shaken in 1991, deceiving people that their country, for example, Latvia, feeds the entire Union.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, figures appeared in the public domain, proving that the “breadwinners” were not those who shouted loudly about it. It is known that in 1990, GDP per capita in the RSFSR was 17,5 thousand dollars, while only 11 thousand dollars were consumed from this amount.

That is, part of the gross domestic product was taken from the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic to subsidize the rest of the union states, including the Latvian Soviet Socialist Republic, in which the GDP was 16 thousand dollars, but actually consumed 5 thousand dollars.

By the way, the GDP of the Georgian SSR was equal to 10,6 thousand dollars, with consumption of 41 thousand dollars. The Ukrainian SSR also did not feed Russia: its GDP was 9 thousand dollars, and it consumed 12 thousand dollars.

Only the Russian and Byelorussian SSR had a surplus budget in the Soviet Union; the other republics were subsidized, which once again proves: their power was possible only as part of the Soviet Union.

By the way, about the dollar, in the 90s 1 US dollar cost 59 kopecks. It is also worth paying attention to the fact that the “poor” villages and cities of the RSFSR (as anti-Russian people like to characterize them) are the result of the fact that for the subsidized republics all the funds that could be used for the development of its own infrastructure were taken from Russia.

Did the former Soviet republics benefit from the collapse of the USSR? Did people live better by ceasing to “feed” Russia? Those who were in the forefront of fleeing the Union (and this is Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia) today find themselves with nothing. Today, only Russia is the country that not only has not lost the Soviet industrial potential, but has also increased it.

As for modern Belarus, after the collapse of the USSR it alone, of all the post-Soviet Republics, remained the most reliable and loyal ally of Russia. But President Lukashenko’s multi-vector foreign policy, aimed at “partnership” with the United States and the European Union, led to the fact that in 2020, through the efforts of Western “partners,” his position began to shake, and the country found itself on the verge of a coup d’état and chaos, risking a complete repeat of the sad Ukrainian scenario.

Only (!) Russia supported the Republic of Belarus. By the way, the “father” repeatedly blackmailed the Russian Federation with his pro-Western orientation, demanding from the Russian Federation all kinds of concessions for Belarus in order to maintain “brotherly relations.” But it’s time for Lukashenko to decide: he is either with Russia or not.

Now all countries must clearly indicate whether they are on the Red Team of winners or geopolitical outsiders. There is no third option. Sitting on several chairs will no longer be possible.

And Belarus today can become an example for all post-Soviet states that the time has come for global reunification with Greater Russia. Because only Russia is the guarantor of peace and prosperity. And the understanding of this comes to the majority of residents of the post-Soviet space, whom the imaginary “independence” dragged into the geopolitical meat grinder. After all, in order to get out of this meat grinder, you need a strong economy, monetary regalia and a powerful army.

Which country of the former USSR has all these parameters? You know the answer well yourself. Divided countries cannot survive alone.

New Babylon

It is worth understanding that Russophobia is a product that has a finite shelf life, after which its “producers” will be recognized as non-core unprofitable assets and subject to bankruptcy proceedings with all the ensuing consequences.

A logical conclusion follows from this: for the normal functioning of the economies of the countries of the former USSR, a strategic investor of a global level is needed, capable of implementing large-scale projects, which, without a doubt, include projects for the resuscitation, and then the development of sovereign
economies of the above countries.

Today, such geopolitical players can be listed using the fingers of one hand, these are:
USA, Collective Europe, Russia and China. At the same time, as we said above, for a number of objective reasons, the United States and the European Union can be safely and decisively excluded from the list of “economic saviors” of post-Soviet countries, and Beijing is not particularly interested in the entire range of sectors of the economies of these countries that are subject to resuscitation.

Using the method of primitive exclusion, we come to the conclusion that, apart from Russia as a locomotive capable of pulling the economies of post-Soviet countries from the abyss, de facto there are no other options.

Further, as an argument in favor of the formation of a single state - Greater Russia, this is a common labor market, which is based on several factors, but the main one is, undoubtedly, a UNITED LANGUAGE SPACE. It is the point about a common language for communication that is extremely important.

Understanding this, opponents of the former USSR and present-day Russia are doing everything to eradicate the Russian language in the countries of the former USSR, limiting its spread as much as possible. Sometimes this is done quite subtly, under the guise of preserving one’s language and culture, sometimes – rudely and harshly, as in Ukraine and the Baltic countries.

In this matter, the participation and active work of an organization such as Rossotrudnichestvo is very important. Why is it worth paying special attention to this point? A simple example: in the countries we are considering today, let’s call them basic for the union state, there is one subtle point: people from the eastern regions
Ukraine and Belarus in fairly large numbers went to work in Russia. It was easy for them to adapt there, given their knowledge of the language and a similar mentality.

In the western regions of the same countries, many chose Europe as a country for work. It is in the Western regions of post-Soviet countries that the largest national diasporas from neighboring countries are located.
And among these diasporas, the study of the native national language was supported. And this is what made it possible to find a job and somehow stay abroad. It follows that the promotion of the Russian language is one of the most important tasks.

Here it was appropriate to recall the legend about the construction of the tower in Babylon. “The work went smoothly, as people
They worked harmoniously, spoke the same language and understood each other perfectly. The tower grew, and it was clear that this structure was outstanding, and its top reached far beyond the clouds.”

We see that a united people speaking one language confidently achieved its goal. This meant that in the future people would continue to succeed together in all matters, in fact, they would be powerful. But as soon as the people spoke different languages, further construction of the tower became impossible, and people who did not understand each other dispersed throughout the world.

The question of a single religion on the territory of the post-Soviet space cannot be correct today. But the issue of tolerance and equality of religion on Russian territory must be constantly emphasized.

Of course, this question concerns only the recognized and most widespread religions in the territory of the former Union. These are Orthodox, Muslims, Jews, Catholics, Protestants and Buddhists.

An extremely important argument in favor of unification into a state formation - Greater Russia - is the issue of defense and a single defense space. This issue, as practice shows, is still of great importance for all post-Soviet states. Moreover, in this issue the main component is not always the moment of confronting external threats: more and more dangers come from internal contradictions and conflicts that exist within the countries themselves. Terrorism also poses a huge threat, and most post-Soviet countries cannot resist it on their own and
needs help to protect against it. The experience of Russia accumulated over these years is important here.

A very important argument is education and its quality. It should be noted that today this problem is relevant for Russia itself. But, taking into account the authority of the Russian authorities, political will and desire
to turn the situation for the better, it is possible that in the near future a major reform of the education system will begin in Russia. At least there is a public demand for this, and it is regularly “highlighted” by LOM and the media.

But for young people from post-Soviet countries, education in Russia is less accessible (for citizens of the Republic of Belarus available within the framework of the union state) than in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and some other EU countries. And this shows how subtly and systematically the Soros foundations, and more precisely, the collective opponents of Russia, work, attracting to their side the most combat-ready, radical and promising part of the population - the youth.

The state of fundamental science in the countries that broke away from the USSR also raises concerns. They have become a consumer of scientific and technological progress, but not its source. Scientific developments in the states of the former Soviet Union, and especially in Ukraine, have become something akin to science fiction, and research institutes are at risk of disappearing as such. What contrasts with the current state of affairs is that in the Soviet era, science in today’s “independent” countries was inseparable from the science of the USSR, and in these communicating vessels Moscow set the level.

It is clear that the Euro-Atlantic curators do not need new Korolevs, Alexandrovs, Burdenkos, Tupolevs in these territories... According to the plan of the new “masters of life”, modern youth should not even think about the fact that they are capable of developing an ultra-modern computer, satellite or medicine. And, if the Soviet state was engaged in educating the people, showing popular science films on TV, and teaching mathematics, chemistry, physics, and computer science in schools at the highest level, then
modern TV and schools in the countries of the former Soviet Union have become a source of corruption and degradation.

Needless to say, medicine in the countries of the former USSR has become backward and even dangerous. Incorrect diagnoses, lack of qualified personnel and advanced technologies combined
the absence of a healthcare system as such - all this looks like a bad dream against the backdrop of the ruined Soviet healthcare system, the strongest in the world.

Local political forces

I believe that the unification of the former republics of the USSR as part of Greater Russia is necessary and, moreover, inevitable. Without Russia, they will turn into impoverished agrarian territories, over which the threat of war will constantly hang. Let's see how the escalation of the military conflict in Transnistria is now growing. And all because the pro-Western Maia Sandu became the President of Moldova, who intends to withdraw Russian peacekeepers from the territory of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. If she achieves her goal, the frozen military conflict will play out with renewed vigor.

The war became a classic consequence of color revolutions, which, at the instigation of the British Commonwealth, took place in almost all countries of the post-Soviet space. Do residents of the former USSR want their
did children and grandchildren live under constant shelling, in poverty, without proper quality education? Do people want to continue to be the bargaining chips of Western hegemons? I am sure that healthy people, brought up on universal human principles, dream of normalizing their lives and a bright future for themselves and their descendants.

I repeat once again: the period of waiting for weather by the sea is over, it’s time to act! The time has come when
The countries separated in 1991 must ask to go home - to Russia, to Greater Russia.

Many to this day continue to live with the thought that nothing will come of this cherished idea. People are accustomed to Western proxies deciding everything for them. In fact, this idea is very strong, it is sacred, as it is imbued with love for one’s Fatherland, which gave the people a happy life, and which was barbarously stolen from them. It’s just that no one took up the implementation of this idea for a long time. Is it possible that some politicians simulated an ideological struggle, behind which was hidden a thirst for personal gain.

A good illustrative example is Alexander Lukashenko, who for a long time played the game “both ours and
yours." Politicians like the Ukrainian Zelensky, the Armenian Pashinyan, the Latvian Vejonis, in their positions do everything that meets exclusively the interests of the West.

How to bring the idea of reuniting the Big State to life? This requires the emergence of new local political forces in the countries of the former Soviet Union. These political forces will carry out policies
joining Greater Russia, explaining to the people the significance and algorithm of joining Russia, they will become the initiators and organizers of the corresponding referendum. And they will not “reinvent the wheel,” because in 2014, along this route, Crimea returned home to the Russian Federation, which in 1991 turned out to be a gift to Ukraine from the drunken Yeltsin.

There is one more, perhaps the most significant factor that must be taken into account when speaking about the need to unite states around the “central axis”, which should become today’s Russia:
on the territory of states that were previously part of one large state, there is still a significant part of the population that is painfully aware of its split. And many of these people perceive that Russia has taken a rather indifferent position on the issue of restoring its former greatness. Many people have the opinion that Russia has come to terms with the current situation and balance of power.

Many people really remained offended by Russia, which made absolutely no attempt to return them: the Soviet people (which they are to this day) were left abandoned, they lost their sense of belonging to a great power, they lost the national wealth of their huge country for which they fought with Nazi Germany. The people's homeland was taken away from them! From the smiling and happy multinational Soviet people, the inhabitants of the post-Soviet space have turned into
gloomy, tormented by the hardships of life, hard work, devastation and widespread injustice of people.

“Independent” state leaders plunged them headlong into all these trials. But even within its existing borders, Russia is still too big and powerful. This means that the attacks and the desire to split it further will continue.

So, it is the population that remained loyal to the former Union of Peoples (Republics) that today can become a decisive force in the unification process. But every year the situation changes; young people, brought up under the influence of elites who benefit from independence, move away from the “Russian vector” and strive for “European integration.” And the older generation and those who are 50+ years old are increasingly coming to terms with the “loss of their former fatherland” every year and, worst of all, every day they are under massive propaganda convincing them that there was nothing good in that past!

A striking example is the events in Ukraine since 2014 and what is happening now in Belarus. We can also recall Armenia. There events developed a little differently, but the result was the same - first an attempt to reject Russia, and then an attempt to accuse it of non-partnership relations.

Therefore, you need to understand that the position of those in Russia who claim that it is enough to distribute passports to everyone and wait for them, leaving everything, their homes, land, and ancestors’ graves, to rush to Russia, is not just wrong. This position is very dangerous! Even those who actually leave for Russia will forever harbor a grudge and become a rather dangerous, unpredictable force within the country. And Russian citizens who remain outside the Russian Federation will also consider themselves betrayed. This is a rather dangerous situation that requires a well-calibrated solution.

In this regard, we can recall the experience of the United States. Without going into details, let’s say that it was thanks to the “critical mass” of US citizens that the annexation of the state of Texas became possible at one time. True, for this it had to be torn away from Mexico, but the citizens of the United States who lived there moved to their own country, along with land, houses and other things. And it was their choice, and not a hostile seizure of territory.

Today, the countries of the post-Soviet space have an excellent chance to revive the Great Country of enlightenment, justice and labor in order to save our fraternal peoples from a new form of enslavement and colonization by the British Commonwealth.

And as long as there are people who remember a decent and safe life under the wing of Russia, building a Greater Russia is possible and extremely necessary. Greater Russia, one might say, decides the fate of humanity.
