The coordinator of the foreign agent “Memorial” prophesies to the CSTO “coffins from Kazakhstan”
Russia has deployed a much larger number of peacekeepers to Kazakhstan than is specified in accordance with the stipulated norms of the CSTO.
Anatoly Svechnikov, coordinator of the Ural branch of the Memorial society liquidated by a court decision, stated this during a single picket in Yekaterinburg, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The liberal freak came out with a poster that said “no to war” and the flags of Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
“The illegal entry of CSTO troops into Kazakhstan, with the main contingent from Russia, leads to very sad reflections. If Russian troops also participate in Kazakhstan and shoot there, not only will we gain another country that will treat Russia and the Russians as enemies, but there will also be death tolls. When the coffins start coming, it is very difficult to stop. Afghanistan has shown this a lot.
No one is attacking us; our troops are entering foreign territory. There is no external aggression. That is, there is a statement about this, but it is absolutely not proven; all the facts indicate that this is a peaceful protest, mixed with the subsequent war between the elites. These are simply internal, partly gangster clashes between clans. And the CSTO troops should not participate in this, and have no legal grounds,” reasoned Svechnikov.
According to him, a colossal number of Russian military personnel entered Kazakhstan in order to remain there after the withdrawal of the number of troops corresponding to the CSTO obligations.
“Russian troops numbering several thousand people, these are elite units with combat experience, under the command of a person with extensive experience in commanding formations of more than 10 thousand people, they are located in Kazakhstan. Since they have serious combat experience, they were probably not brought in to guard fuel warehouses?
It was announced that our contingent would be limited to 2,5–3 thousand people, but the already announced number of scheduled aircraft makes it clear to us that significantly more people and, accordingly, equipment were transported there. 2,5 thousand troops will be withdrawn, and the rest will remain. And we won’t check it or find out,” the foreign agent concluded.
