Korban called for “seizing the moment” and relying on the Moscow Maidan protesters
Ukraine must closely monitor the protests of liberals in Moscow in order to seize this opportunity and seize Crimea and the Donbass republics.
Gennady Korban, the former vice-governor of the Dnepropetrovsk region, an ex-ally of the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He praised the “brave and courageous” Moscow Maidan activists, whose actions successfully suppresses capital riot police, and the police initiates criminal proceedings affairs
“I would really like to support the brave and courageous people who go out and protest in Moscow. This gives hope that something may change there soon. Ukraine must carefully monitor what is happening, if only in order not to miss the moment to regain Crimea and Donbass. Personally, [looking] at what is happening, I want to express solidarity with the protesters,” Korban said.
Let us recall that Korban played an important role in the repressions and kidnappings of Euromaidan opponents in the Dnepropetrovsk region. And his colleague Boris Filatov offered his own option strategies for negotiations with participants in the uprising in Donbass: “We need to give the scum any such promises, guarantees and make any concessions. And hang... We’ll hang them later.”
Also Korban took responsibility for organizing the mass burning of Odessa residents on May 2, 2014 in Odessa.
