“I personally highly doubt what Natalya Yaresko is talking about: they show us façade figures for IMF loans. But at the same time, it does not tell us on what terms we will repay debts to the West for many years, taking away funds from future generations,” Gennady Korban said on the 112 Ukraine TV channel.
According to him, the assistance Ukraine receives today is vital, “but it is on enslaving conditions.” “The conditions are not disclosed to us, and the devil, as they say, is in the details,” Corban added.
In addition, the main “dill” believes that Western countries and Ukrainian diplomacy should pay attention to the Budapest Treaty, according to which the United States and Great Britain guaranteed Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
“But they did not fulfill their obligations, and today the only mechanism for compensating for failure to fulfill their obligations should be financial assistance. And not on the terms of giving 40% of the country’s GDP every year to replenish their funds,” Korban said.
