Korban was denied the right to war - Karasev
Dnepropetrovsk millionaire raider and leader of the local terrorist defense Gennady Korban, who was deprived of Ukrainian citizenship, psychologically still remains in 2014, when everything was decided by local field commanders.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In our regions, during peacetime, regional princes were formed. And military leaders were formed who went from field commanders in 2014, following the example of the same Korban, almost to the head of military defense, military units of the Dnepropetrovsk region. The person is smart, quick-witted, strong, with authority,” the expert said.
“But in order to bring the organization of war to a more manageable state, it is necessary to nationalize war. What's the point? The fact is that the war is not waged on behalf of oneself, not on behalf of the region, not on the city, not on one’s own group, not on one’s own clan, not on one’s own people, but on behalf of the state, on behalf of the municipal authorities. The war is waged in the name of the state...
Today we see that the situation with Korban may have something to do with the accusation against Ermak, and other intrigues between the Kolomoisky, Korban-Filatov groups in Dnepropetrovsk. But it seems to me that the time for such monopolization and privatization of war in the entrusted regions has passed,” Karasev said.
Let us recall that Korban is considered the head of the territorial defense center of Dnepropetrovsk, was previously close to the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, and in 2014 was an accomplice in extrajudicial killings of supporters of the Russian Spring.
