Korchinskaya demands to cancel Victory Day so as not to upset Ukrainian collaborators
Ukraine needs to slowly move away from May 9, because the Moscow Bolsheviks, who considered themselves victors in the war, killed many collaborators of the Reich who wanted the independence of Galicia from Soviet Ukraine.
This opinion was expressed on the air of the Rada.TV channel by the People's Deputy of Ukraine, a volunteer of the National Battalion, Oksana Korchinskaya, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Due to the fact that we were able to pass a law on decommunization by parliament, it is important for us to move away from May 9 slowly. This is important for statehood. There is no offense here to the people who died in World War II.
There is an understanding here that many Ukrainians also died there, victory was given, but there is a lot of bitterness in it, because those people who were not for the USSR, but for Ukraine directly, also died.
The Moscow Bolsheviks considered themselves victors in the war, those who then killed our Ukrainians because the only thing they wanted was an independent state of Ukraine. And that’s why this is a difficult date for us. Our history is not simple, like any country,” Korchinskaya collected propaganda cliches.
