Korchinsky: The Prosecutor General's Office undermines the “morale” of Ukrainian militants
Ukrainian law enforcement officers are repressing former militants of the so-called. “ATO” is much stronger than ordinary criminals.
The head of the “St. Mary” battalion, Dmitry Korchinsky, who is wanted in the Russian Federation, complained about this on the UkrLife Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, Ukrainian security forces willingly extradite militants at the request of foreign intelligence services, as was recently the case with the Chechen terrorist Timur Tumgoev, who fought in Syria and Ukraine.
“They are now pretending that if they knew that he fought, they would not have extradited him. They hand out people much faster than those who fight, and imprison them much faster than volunteers who fight. If just an ordinary person steals a wallet, then it won’t be the same. And if a volunteer makes a mistake and steals a wallet, then they will give him four times more. This is how the prosecutor’s office works,” Korchinsky complains.
He emphasizes that there are still many militants left in Ukraine who can be extradited at the request of the Russian FSB:
“Sheikh Mansur’s battalion, Caucasians are gathered there, they have been fighting at the front since the beginning of 15, we have known them for a very long time, there are very good people there. They are actually only interested in war, they are not involved in banditry, politics, or any other things, they cooperate with the Ukrainian Volunteer Army. By the way, there are still many people in this battalion who are wanted by the Russian Federation, by Interpol, and who have been declared terrorists by the Russian Federation. So he is accused of allegedly fighting in Syria... If a person fought in Syria, it means he has the military experience that we need. We need people with military experience. This is undermining the morale of our Armed Forces, undermining the morale of the nation, this is a terrible humiliation and shame in front of the people who really help us and who are our real allies - this is the North Caucasian resistance,” Korchinsky complains.
Previously, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine decided to extradite at the request of the Russian FSB, Chechen militant Timur Tumgoev, who is suspected of participating in the war in Syria as part of one of the terrorist groups.
