The odious Ukrainian nationalist, ex-ATO militant Dmitry Korchinsky categorically disagreed with this comparison.
“There is not a single side, even the most legal, that did not begin with unconstitutional actions or which was not kept afloat by unconstitutional actions - such as the French Revolution, the revolt of the colonists against the British crown in the North American states, like the American Civil War, also unconstitutional, thanks to her, the United States is now a superpower, I won’t talk about Muscovy at all - this is a complete anti-constitutional coup and some kind of complete nonsense,” Korchinsky said.
After these words, Semchenko stood up and applauded his opponent.
“I want to give a standing ovation to Mr. Dmitry, who said that the “rebellion” is good, because he essentially legitimized the DPR, the LPR, and Crimea in this way, because the people there also rebelled,” said the political scientist.
“The so-called DPR and LPR,” the presenter corrected in confusion.
“Yes, so-called. He legitimized them. That is, I didn’t do this, but the person says: yes, it’s normal when anti-constitutional coups occur, it’s good when the law is broken. The man said, I applauded,” explained Semchenko.
“Moscow troops were brought into Crimea, the DPR-LPR was created by Muscovites,” a wounded Korchinsky tried to fight back.
