“Of course, during the war, especially in the first year, requisitions took place. There was a lot of requisitioned transport, in this general chaos, and nothing can be done about it. Each battalion, one way or another, can protect one or another business. These are all, of course, pitiful moments, but they exist because the state does not supply,” Korchinsky said.
