Korchinsky: “Tornado” should have been quietly shot, and not played along with Putin
Many people had complaints against the Ministry of Internal Affairs “Tornado” battalion, whose fighters are suspected of mass torture and rape in the ATO zone, but the prosecutor’s office is “playing for the enemy” by bringing the problem into the public sphere. ATO participant Dmitry Korchinsky, ex-head of UNA-UNSO, stated this on the air of “Ukr Life”.

According to him, this problem could be solved simply by “shooting the battalion employees.”
“Many people had complaints about Tornado, but when people are already in prison, it’s a shame for us to voice complaints or continue to throw mud at them. There is no need to do this. They are already in prison, fighting for their freedom. There is no reason for us to help the guards. The military prosecutor's office, Matios (military prosecutor of Ukraine - author) - these are the people who advertise for themselves on Tornado. This is very bad because they are playing along with the enemy. If the Tornadoes are really what they say they are, then everything had to be done quietly. Then shoot them quietly - you have special services,” Korchinsky said.
Let us note that the “St. Mary” battalion, which is headed by Dmitry Korchinsky, was previously part of the “Shakhtersk” battalion, whose members were also the current “Tornado” fighters. Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arseniy Avakov disbanded the special-purpose company “Tornado” of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Lugansk region. Its fighters are accused of robbery, illegal imprisonment, torture, rape and murder of local residents under the leadership of the five-time convicted battalion commander Ruslan Onishchenko.
