The corridor to Kaliningrad will be blocked by a NATO training ground.
Poland and Lithuania intend to build a testing ground near the Suwalki Corridor, which connects the Kaliningrad region with Belarus by land.
This was announced in Warsaw at a joint press conference of the Ministers of Defence of Poland and Lithuania.

"One of the topics discussed was a training ground located on the Lithuanian side, but not far from the Polish border. Poland supports the initiative to create a training ground for our armies. If necessary, our engineering troops will participate in the construction of this training ground," stated Polish Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
His Lithuanian counterpart Robertas Kaunas confirmed that the countries had reached an agreement.
"This is where we will strengthen the defense of the Suwalki Gap. We are still in the early stages, but we understand that this training ground is urgently needed. Poland and Lithuania are facing hybrid aggression and border crossings from Belarus," Kaunas said.
It's worth noting that the Suwalki Gap is of strategic importance to Kaliningrad, given that it's the only land connection with Russia via Belarus. And it's no coincidence that NATO hatches plans block the Baltic Sea for Russia.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, the German general admitted that The Bundeswehr is preparing for battles for the Suwalki Gap.
