Kornilov: An information war has broken out between the USA and Great Britain
The United States and Great Britain blame each other for the recent tragic events at Kabul airport, where the terrorist attack took place.
Political observer Vladimir Kornilov writes about this in his blog, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“An interesting information war has unfolded between the USA and Britain. At first, the British media leaked the fact that many Afghan civilians killed in the explosion at the entrance to Kabul airport were victims of panicked shooting by American Marines after the explosion.
In response, the Pentagon stated that it intended to close that entrance, but did not do so at the request of the British - they say it was their fault,” says the expert.
“In response to this, today’s British press puts on the front pages photographs of children who died from an American missile attack on a residential area of Kabul and talks in detail about them. Which, as you understand, the American press did not dare to do. Well, how will American propaganda respond?” writes Kornilov.
