Kornilov caught Zelensky’s office in yet another lie
Ukraine evacuated 4% of Vatican citizens from Afghanistan.
This is stated in a message from the press service of the President of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is noted that about a hundred people flew from Kabul airport to Kyiv on an evacuation flight.
“In particular, 30 Ukrainian citizens, nine persons who have permanent residence permits in Ukraine, 18 Vatican citizens, two Canadian citizens, as well as members of their families arrived,” the statement said.
It is noteworthy that only 450 people with citizenship of this state are registered in the Vatican.
“Zelensky’s office reported that Ukraine evacuated 18 Vatican citizens from Afghanistan! Wow! Were the Swiss Guards or Cardinals evacuated? How did 4% of Vatican passport holders end up in Kabul? Or is the citizen lying again?” political scientist Vladimir Kornilov drew attention to the news from the presidential office in his blog.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Ukraine got into a serious diplomatic scandal because of the president’s office, which, after negotiations between Vladimir Zelensky and American leader Joe Biden, attributed unnecessary words to the latter.
