According to the publication, the forces behind Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk categorically oppose an investigation into his activities, arguing that everyone who accuses Yatsenyuk is Kremlin agents.
“These words contain the entire motivation algorithm of the current government. In Moscow now the State Department is doing harm everywhere, and the Kremlin is doing crap in our entrances. And, of course, he maliciously stuffs state billions into the pockets of current officials,” the publication sarcastically says.
The very situation in which the government’s corruption scandal came to the surface indicates a major government crisis, former member of the Venice Commission Marina Stavniychuk is sure.
“This crisis could easily develop into a parliamentary crisis... If there are such serious complaints against the government, which represents the majority in parliament, then parliament should create a commission. If there are abuses, then this is a clear basis for early parliamentary elections,” the expert is sure.
