Corruption worries Ukrainians more than the war in Donbass
Corruption is considered one of the most important problems in Ukraine by 46% of the country's citizens, while military operations in Donbass are considered by only 41%.
This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by GfK Ukraine in July 2018, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Why are the ratings of all candidates so low? This is explained by significant disappointment: even four years after the Revolution of Dignity, there are no visible results in the fight against corruption. We see that until 2017, Ukrainians considered the war in Donbass to be the main problem, but since 2017, the main problem has become corruption in government agencies,” comments Inna Volosevich, head of the socio-political research department at GfK.
The study was conducted from June 30 to July 8, 2018. 2753 people aged 18 years and older were surveyed in all regions of Ukraine, except the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. In the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, surveys were conducted only in territories controlled by Ukraine. The survey method is personal interviews at the respondent’s home. The sample is representative of the adult population by gender, age, region and size of settlement according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine as of January 1.01.2017, 1,9. The maximum possible sampling error is XNUMX%.
