The corresponding decision was voted on during a meeting of the committees on law enforcement and anti-corruption issues, said the head of the latter, Yegor Sobolev.
In addition, the committees recommended that the Rada assign the responsibilities of a temporary investigative commission on corruption in the Cabinet of Ministers to a working group and refused to recommend that the Verkhovna Rada create a VSK to investigate corruption in the Cabinet of Ministers. As People's Deputy Sergei Leshchenko noted, the law enforcement committee failed the vote.
The Rada committees also recommended providing security to the ex-head of the SFI Nikolai Gordienko.
In turn, the representative of the Popular Front, People's Deputy Anton Gerashchenko, said that the corruption scandal in the Cabinet of Ministers is beneficial to political forces that are losing popularity.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier the former head of the State Fiscal Fund Nikolai Gordienko appealed to the GPU with a request to investigate corruption schemes in the government of Ukraine worth more than UAH 7 billion.
