“Yanukovych’s Wallet” entered the Moscow restaurant market
Oligarch Sergei Kurchenko, who fled from Ukraine, whom the press called the head of state’s “wallet” during the presidency of Viktor Yanukovych, entered the Moscow restaurant market.
The Kommersant newspaper writes about this today.
In addition to the Varenichnaya No. 1 and Rukola chains, through structures registered in Cyprus, Kurchenko became a partner of part of the Georgian cuisine establishments Khacha, which previously operated under the guise of Khachapuri, as well as the Odessa-Mama restaurant, the publication reports.
Investments in the opening of each facility “Khacha” and “Odessa-Mama” are estimated by market experts from €600 thousand to €1 million.
As PolitNavigator reported, at the end of 2019, Kurchenko’s structures acquired the Feodosia oil depot for more than 650 million rubles.
