Nightmare at school No. 57 in Donetsk: instead of a holiday - a bloody tragedy (PHOTO, VIDEO 18+)
Donetsk, October 01 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – The first day of the new school year will forever go down in the history of Donetsk. Today, the first of October, almost all the surviving schools in the city were ready to accept students, and the children had to start a new school life. The recently concluded truce gave hope that this was possible, and that a peaceful life would begin, at least for the children.

But for school No. 57 in the Kiev district of Donetsk, this day turned into a nightmare. Immediately after the formation of the line, at approximately 09.50, artillery shelling of the educational institution began. Teachers and parents in a panic grabbed the children and ran with them to the basement. After it was all over, people were afraid to leave there, and they were literally taken out one by one and evacuated by the militia.
It was only by luck that none of the children were hurt, but there were still victims. Three civilians were killed: a teacher at this school and two parents of students who actually covered the children with their bodies.
The fire at the school came from a GRAD multiple launch rocket system, presumably from the airport area. What is surprising is the accuracy of the hit and the fact that the shells did not hit the nearest houses. Experts who arrived at the scene suggest that a radio beacon could have been brought onto the school grounds, ensuring accurate guidance.
The investigation into this tragic fact continues, but one thing can be said with certainty: the horror that the children experienced, and the tragedy that unfolded before their eyes, will forever remain in the memory of innocent children.
