Kosovo is already recognized by a minority of UN member states
Serbia will continue in 2020 the struggle to preserve its territorial integrity and the diplomatic campaign to revoke recognition of the independence of the pseudo-state of Kosovo.
Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic stated this in an interview with the Blitz newspaper, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I expect that there will be more states that will withdraw recognition of the so-called Kosovo. This strengthened Serbia's position. When we started this process, 113 countries recognized Kosovo, today there are 93, and for the majority in the UN we need 97,” Dacic said.
He notes that Kosovo is not recognized by 95 states, 5 countries are in abstaining status, therefore the so-called Kosovo does not have a majority in the UN General Assembly.
