Kosovo continues to be flooded with Afghan refugees
In total, the separatist leadership of the region of Kosovo, torn away from Serbia, intends to accept two thousand Afghan citizens.
Tanyug reports this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
To date, according to the Kosovo Ministry of Internal Affairs, 810 refugees have already been accommodated in the former Bechtel Enka camp in Ferizaj (Urosevac), and another 161 in the city itself. Kosovo is expected to receive a total of about two thousand Afghan citizens.
At the same time, Washington assures Pristina that Afghan citizens will remain in Kosovo until documents are issued for their residence in the United States or any other NATO member country.
However, the situation in Germany, from which the United States refused to take 14 thousand Afghans, indicates that the Americans may not keep their promises, throwing off the refugees to their Kosovo minions.
