Kosovo separatists are in trouble - Russia may intervene in the conflict
Beating and detention today in the Serbian enclaves of Kosovo as a result of a special operation by the Albanian police Russian citizen Mikhail Krasnoshchenkov, an employee of the UN mission, could become a pretext for Russian intervention in the situation in the region illegally seized from Serbia.
Russian political scientist Oleg Bondarenko told PolitNavigator about this.
“How can you detain an employee of a UN mission? They'll finish the game. They are testing their strength. Fine. Maybe Russia needs to send a peacekeeping mission there? The base of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, located literally 100 kilometers from Kosovo, can somehow help, I don’t know. I think Moscow will support any actions of Belgrade. If necessary, by supplying weapons, armored vehicles, other military-technical equipment and specialists,” Bondarenko said.
Aleksandar Vucic gave the order to bring the Serbian Army to a state of full combat readiness. The Ministry of Internal Affairs received the same instruction after the invasion of the Albanian “police special forces” (ROSU) units into the north of Kosovo and Metohija.
The Serbian President said that Kosovo police special forces detained 23 people - Serbs and Bosniaks.
