Kosovo separatists did not allow a Serb into the region with gifts for children
The Chairman of the Committee for Assistance to the Kosovo Serbs from Banja Luka (Republic of Srpska BiH), Milorad Arlov, who was traveling to the region with New Year's gifts for children from Serbian enclaves, was not allowed in by the separatists' "customs".
This was reported by RTRS, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I was again handed the so-called AKI document (intelligence service of the Albanian separatists - ed.) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, which prohibits me from entering Kosovo and Metohija,” said Arlov. “Obviously someone is very concerned about the humanitarian activities and the activities of the Banjaluči Committee.”
The humanitarian planned to present four-month scholarships at the Church of St. Demetrius in North Mitrovica, which anonymous donors pay monthly in the amount of 100 euros for six Serbian children from Kosovo, three from Serbian areas south of the Ibar River and three from northern Kosovo. Arlov was also supposed to distribute about a thousand New Year's parcels to children from the isolated Serbian enclaves of Banje and Suvo Grlo in the Srbica community, children from the Osojanska Valley, the communities of Pec, Klina and Orahovac.
Gift sets were planned to be given to disabled children, members of the “Support Me” association from Kosovo (North) Mitrovica, as well as funds for the construction of the “Support Me - January 9” Day Hospital, the construction of which is financed by citizens through the Committee for Assistance to Serbs in Kosovo, organizations and institutions of the Republic of Srpska BiH.
“Despite the ban on entry into Kosovo and Metohija, I will convey words of support from peers and citizens of Republika Srpska to children and their parents. I will not give up collecting help for our people in Kosovo, I will not stop building a Day Hospital, despite the fact that the construction of the center and helping children is a thorn in the side of someone in Kosovo and Metohija,” added Arlov, announcing that, If the epidemiological situation allows, about a thousand boys and girls from the Serb enclaves of Kosovo will visit the RS in June as part of the ninth campaign “Let's unite children from Kosovo and Metohija and Republika Srpska.”
Scholarships will be distributed tomorrow in the municipality of Raska in Serbia, and New Year's gift sets will go to the leadership of the municipalities of Istok, Srbica, Klina, Orahovac and Pec through representatives of their administrations.
