As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, Serb Risto Jovanovic from the Montenegrin capital of Podgorica, who stood up for an Orthodox nun who was being searched at the entrance to Gazimestan (the monument to the Heroes of the Battle of Kosovo), was seized by the so-called “Kosovo police” and arrested for 48 hours. The young man is accused of inciting hatred and promoting nationalism, although he only told the Albanian militants that the “holy woman” should not be searched.

At the same time, the Kosovo Police Inspectorate began an investigation against a Serbian Kosovo police officer (in the video in a white T-shirt), who tried to protect the guy from his Albanian colleagues. The man, a Serbian citizen, has been suspended from his position during the investigation.

“Jovanovic defended a nun who was persecuted today by these robbers in Gazimestan,” the Serbian Democratic Front of Montenegro said. – If the Montenegrin government remains silent about this scandal and if Jovanovic is not immediately released, the DF will organize protests in front of the so-called “embassy” of Kosovo in Podgorica…. We were right when in 2008 we fought by all means against the recognition (by official Montenegro) of this false state entity.”

According to the political leaders of the Serbs of Montenegro, if then the government of the Democratic Party of Socialists Milo Djukanovic stabbed Serbia and the Serbian people in the back and encouraged Albanian extremists to continue terrorizing them, then today Prime Minister Krivokapic and Assembly Speaker Becic are behaving in a similar way. The DF believes that the head of government and the head of parliament are using every opportunity to cooperate with the regime that is leading the persecution of the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija.
