Kosovo Serbs can't believe it. For the first time, the shooter was arrested
The so-called “Kosovo police” quickly found and arrested an Albanian who last Saturday shot at teenagers gathered in the courtyard of the village of Donja Brnica.
This was reported by KosovoOnline, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Since 1999, we have suffered from atrocities from vandals who provoke us, steal and destroy our property,” local resident Milan Cirkovic commented on the situation. “But no one has ever been held accountable for the numerous incidents.”
For the first time since 1999, the incident was resolved. It had to happen someday. I’m an old man and I don’t feel safe, but our children should feel that.”
From the moment incident Five days have passed before school, but local residents are still on edge. There are still no children in the schoolyard, although the number of police officers in the locality has noticeably increased.
“Every day we see police officers who often patrol the village, but they are not always in front of the school,” says the director of the Dimitri Prica school, Bojan Miladinovic. “Children still feel insecure. Parents look after their children and don’t let them go alone.”
