Kosovo Serbs held a rally of thousands against the arbitrariness of Pristina
Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, who have been holding barricades in the north of the region for the thirteenth day, held a mass rally in the village of Rudar on December 22 to protest against the arbitrariness of the authorities in Pristina.

The Serbs hung out a banner in Rudar: “Kurti, Kosmet is not your property, this is our Fatherland!” (Albin Kurti is the “Prime Minister” of the self-proclaimed “Republic of Kosovo” - approx.) and unfurled a Serbian flag 250 meters long.
Despite the opposition of the Kosovo police, Serbs from both the north of Kosovo and the center and south of this region gathered for the rally. They demanded the release of illegally detained Serbs, an end to terror on the part of the authorities in Pristina and the implementation of the Brussels Agreement of 2013, which provides for the formation of the Community of Serbian Municipalities in Kosmet.
“The terror that Pristina subjects us to every day, the illegal arrests, the secret “hit lists” of the Serbs, the abuse of the Serbian people by the Kurti special forces - this is the reason why we have gathered today. We have gathered to tell Pristina and its mentors from Zapala that we are here, we want peace, but also freedom, and that we will not surrender to those who want to destroy everything Serbian,” Goran Rakic, the leader of the party, said at the rally.
