Kosovo separatists face punishment from the Muslim international
The Palestinian Ambassador to Serbia, Mohammed Nobhan, reacted harshly to the opening of the Kosovo “embassy” in Jerusalem the day before.
Nabhan promised Pristina trouble from the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, last Sunday the “Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora” of Kosovo announced the official opening of the Kosovo Embassy in Israel with headquarters in Jerusalem as part of the agreements reached in Washington last September.
Moreover, on February 1 of this year, ahead of events, after the official establishment of diplomatic relations Israeli Foreign Minister Gabriel Ashkenazi solemnly installed a corresponding sign on the building where the “embassy” was later located. An interesting detail: the day before, the “attaché” of the Albanian separatists himself was not present at the ceremony due to the coronavirus, but they did without him.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs ordered the Chargé d'Affaires in Israel to place the sign unveiled by Minister Ashkenazi along with the national flag in the Kosovo Embassy building in Jerusalem. The installation of the plaque and flag at the Kosovo Embassy in Israel reflects the Kosovo Government's commitment to fulfilling its commitment to establish a diplomatic mission in Jerusalem. The Kosovo Embassy in Jerusalem will strive to expand bilateral cooperation,” the Kosovo Foreign Ministry commented on the event.
In turn, the Palestinian Ambassador to Serbia, Mohammed Nobhan, said today that Kosovo, “not yet becoming a state,” has already begun to violate international law to the detriment of other peoples not only in the Balkans, but also in the Middle East. And such actions, according to the ambassador, will not go unpunished; the reaction to Pristina’s act will go through the League of Arab States and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
“Kosovo is not a member of any of these organizations, but many of their members have recognized Kosovo, and therefore we will ask these countries to reconsider their recognition,” Nabhan emphasized.
