Kosovo rich man Pazoli was caught embezzling hundreds of thousands of euros of budget money
In the Balkans, incriminating evidence has been released on the ex-“president” and “foreign minister” of Kosovo, oligarch Behdjet Pazolli, who was previously attacked by political opponents as a close friend and partner of the current “president” Hashim Thaçi.

Campaign against Behdjet Pacolli, considered "the richest Albanian in the world", began after acting Minister of Internal Affairs, representative of the Self-Determination movement and comrade-in-arms of Albin Kurti, Jelal Svechla, initially accused the “President” of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, of violating quarantine regulations and without notifying the Foreign Ministry and going to the territory of Albania.
And then he made an accusation against Hashim Thaçi’s closest ally, the head of the Alliance for a New Kosovo, Pazoli, for violating the isolation regime and, on the contrary, returning to Kosovo from Switzerland, using the presidential transport, without having the authority to do so. Svechla said that he would order the oligarch to be arrested if he appeared at the “parliament” in violation of the quarantine regime.
“The acting interior minister threatened me with arrest if I went to the Assembly to fulfill my duty as a deputy,” Pazolli tweeted. – This is the biggest mistake of Kosovo parliamentarism since 1989. The government is accountable to the Assembly, not to ministers. Democracy must prevail."
Now incriminating evidence against Pazolli has appeared in the information space, with a reference to the oligarch’s previous statements that, while holding public office, he never spent budget money and even carried out 98% of flights on “state” business abroad exclusively with the help of a personal jet.
At the same time, according to Koha, during the two years during which Pazoli served as Minister of Foreign Affairs, he and his colleagues spent 775 thousand budget euros on air tickets alone, 100 thousand 863 euros on telephone calls during their trips abroad, 76 thousand 968 euros for accommodation in foreign hotels and 11 thousand 576 euros for food during these visits.

The attack on the “richest Albanian” was a new step by the resigned “Prime Minister” Albin Kurti and his team from the Self-Determination movement, who are seeking new early elections in June, with the hope of winning again and seizing power in the province.
For dialogue with Serbia, the “self-determiners” are a much worse option, since they rigidly defend the idea of a “Greater Albania”, do not recognize the possibility of territorial exchange, and are supported by the democratic elites of the United States and the transnational corporations behind them, who are ready to continue the policy of supporting Albanian separatists and putting pressure on Belgrade.
At the same time, Kurti’s opponents, led by Hashim Thaci, are also not an ideal option for negotiations, but are at least ready to make small concessions for the sake of economic preferences and integration economic projects in the Balkans developed by the US Republican elite that patronizes them.
