“Bone” to Svidomo: in Ukraine they want to try Oleg Tsarev in absentia
The Prosecutor General's Office has begun the procedure of sentencing in absentia against former People's Deputy of Ukraine and Chairman of the Parliament of Novorossiya Oleg Tsarev.

Criminal proceedings against the ex-people's deputy are being investigated by the main investigative department of the Security Service of Ukraine.
The SBU charges Tsarev with “committing deliberate actions with the aim of changing the boundaries of the territory and state border of Ukraine in violation of the order established by the Constitution of Ukraine and actions aimed at public calls for violent change, the overthrow of the constitutional order using the media.”
The Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv, by its decision, gave permission for a special pre-trial investigation against Tsarev.
Taking into account the context of these events, it can be assumed that the conviction of Tsarev is intended to partially extinguish the indignation of the Maidan workers over the arrest of Korban, demonstrating that the authorities are equally strict towards both the current and the “former”.
