Kovtun demanded an apology from Samoilova for visiting Crimea

In Ukraine they want an apology from Russian Eurovision contestant Yulia Samoilova for visiting Crimea. In this case, the ban on visiting Kyiv and participating in the competition could be lifted.

Ukrainian political scientist Vyacheslav Kovtun stated this on the air of the First Studio talk show.
“If she had explained this by some kind of misunderstanding, by the fact that she did not know the law, that is, excusably, then, probably, the reaction would have been different. And now it is what it is,” Kovtun said.
