Donetsk, October 25 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – A delegation of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation arrived in Donetsk, headed by a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, one of the closest associates of the leader of the Russian communists Gennady Zyuganov, Kazbek Taisaev.

A representative delegation arrived on a humanitarian mission and to provide support to Donetsk communists. Following the trip, Kazbek Taisaev gave a short press conference, at which he spoke about his impressions of the trip and the prospects for the Donetsk People's Republic.

“This is not my first time in Donetsk, it is a wonderful city with a wonderful, efficient infrastructure. Now, when I look at this destruction in the city and outside the city, it just depresses me. Just a year ago, no one could have imagined that there would be a war. But in 2008 the same thing happened in South Ossetia, it even seemed to me that we had simply returned to that time. The same scenario: here are the fascists, there are the “Saakashists”, and here and here the Americans stand behind them, and here and here they are hitting peaceful cities with “GRAD” missiles - the scenario, the instructors are the same. But they lost there, they will lose here, just like anyone who goes against the “Russian World” will lose. Now the situation has developed that, in fact, brothers are fighting with each other, but in reality there is no conflict between Ukrainians and Russians. The Russian world is not only a state, it is all those hundreds of nationalities of our country that are united by a single culture, thousand-year history, and faith.”

Speaking about the purposes of the visit, the head of the delegation noted: “I have been heading the humanitarian aid headquarters since May. Now the twentieth humanitarian caravan has arrived; weekly we send from 50 to 100 tons of cargo. First of all, I wanted to look at the distribution of the load and who it goes to. We work both directly with field commanders and with the leadership of the DPR and LPR.

There are no questions to the field commanders themselves - they provide us with video reports, reports on receipt and distribution. I am very grateful to Bezler, the Vostok group and everyone else, they approach this very responsibly. There are questions about working with the government; we probably need to structure our work more clearly. It seems to me that the deputies of the Novorossiya parliament are more close to people, Tsarev provides great help. In the future, we will work with the communist faction in Novorossiya so that every kilogram of humanitarian aid does not go “to the left”, but gets to the population that needs it now, when there are no jobs, salaries and pensions.”

Commenting on the upcoming elections on the 2nd, Kazbek Taisaev said: “I believe that the readiness is very high. Despite the fact that our party was not registered, we will all provide maximum assistance to the elections. Because now we need to put aside political ambitions and choose a legitimate government with which we can conduct dialogue in the future and resolve social issues. We respect Zakharchenko, he is the most intelligent, competent leader who, with the serious support of the Russian Federation, will do a lot for the republic. I hope people make the right choice. I don’t know if I have the right to say this, but I want to say, as a person who follows his activities, that if people elect him, they will not be mistaken. This is a worthy person and we will help him as much as possible, as well as his entire team. We believe that a decent person can assemble an equally worthy team. In any case, after the 2nd, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and Zyuganov will personally support and help the people of the Donetsk and Lugansk republics as much as possible. We are assistants in all matters that will benefit the people of Donbass.”
