The Communist Party of Ukraine refused to surrender former party members in Sevastopol
The leadership of the Communist Party of Ukraine refused to satisfy the request of the “prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea,” which contained a requirement to provide, within 10 days, the personal data of all members of the primary organizations of the Communist Party on the territory of the Sevastopol City Council, as well as the personal data of the leaders of local party cells. Ukrainian law enforcement agencies suspect them of treason.
This is stated in a message on the official website of the Communist Party of Ukraine.

“The Communist Party of Ukraine declares that it regards this request as a deliberate and flagrant violation of the Constitution of Ukraine, as a cynical and criminal violation of political rights and freedoms, as an attempt by the ruling oligarchic-Nazi regime to fabricate, with the help of “useful idiots” from the prosecutor’s office, another “false” case against members of our party.
For our part, we are forced to remind “forgetful” prosecutors that by sending illegal requests and demands, they are thereby committing criminal acts for which real criminal liability is provided,” the message says.
It has already been reprinted on the website of the Sevastopol city organization of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.
