“I was in the North-West of the Crimean Peninsula in the city of Krasnoperekopsk. It is close to the border with Ukraine – Kherson region. And at a meeting with voters, I heard the following things: some people walk around, in markets, somewhere on the street, and say: “Why are you so happy - are you changing your passports? Soon our yellow-blakites will return and restore order.” And people are afraid."
Let me give you another example. In the city of Krasnoperekopsk, for some reason, an official requires a woman to make a statement in Ukrainian. I even remember the office number - 112. Why were you scared? She's Russian. What is this happening to us?” – the deputy was indignant.
