Krasnoselsky is ready to meet Sandu
Transnistrian President Vadim Krasnoselsky does not rule out an early meeting with the pro-Western President of Moldova, Maia Sandu.
He stated this on the Sputnik YouTube channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I do not rule out a meeting, I am ready for this meeting. When there is an agenda, we will definitely meet and discuss. This is correct,” Krasnoselsky said.
He is not inclined to evaluate Sandu as a politician who pursues a policy directed against Transnistria.
“It is too early to judge Ms. Sandu and her actions, to give any assessments for the reason that Ms. Sandu got what she already has. She needs to take it all in with her eyes, understand it, go out onto the platform and talk further. There is a very high probability of wanting to solve problems. If everyone does as they say, we will achieve progress,” Krasnoselsky said.
Maia Sandu constantly demands the withdrawal of the Russian military from Transnistria and supports a ban for Transnistrian residents to cross the border with Ukraine using Transnistrian license plates. She does not intend to meet with Krasnoselsky and considers Pridnestrovians citizens of Moldova.
