“Today, as of 9.00, work on the registration of humanitarian cargo was not carried out due to the failure of representatives of the Red Cross to agree on guarantees for the safety of the movement of the convoy from the terrorist organizations of the DPR and LPR,” said Andrei Lysenko, speaker of the Information and Analytical Center of the National Security and Defense Council.
According to Lysenko, an advanced group of Red Cross representatives has been sent to Lugansk to assess the situation and organize the departure and delivery of humanitarian cargo.
In turn, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that Russia and the militias fully ensured the security of the humanitarian convoy that will be sent from the Russian Federation. This was stated in a conversation with the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov by the President of the Red Cross, Peter Maurer.
As Navigator reported, there are 280 humanitarian convoy trucks on the border with Ukraine.
