Krasny Liman: the situation is getting worse. The last safe road remains
The operational situation for the group of allied forces defending Krasny Liman continues to deteriorate.
This conclusion, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports, follows from the latest report prepared by the military-analytical channel Rybar.
“Allied forces are repelling attacks on Liman from Ozernoye and Shchurovo. A Ukrainian Armed Forces company established a foothold in the village of Novoe. From the bridgehead near Redkodub - Novy, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to build on their success in the direction of the village of Zelenaya Dolina and the Zherebets River in order to encircle the Liman group of forces from the north and go to the rear of the troops defending the city of Liman.
On the western flank, the BARS-13 army reserve unit successfully repelled all enemy attacks on Novoselovka, Drobyshevo and Shandrigolovo,” the publication notes.
It is indicated that east of Krasny Liman, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces established several pontoon crossings between Krivoy Luka and Belogorovka, created a bridgehead on the northern bank of the Seversky Donets, transferred equipment to the bridgehead and began preparations for an active offensive on the positions of the allied forces in this area.
“Enemy mobile reconnaissance groups using light armored vehicles carried out reconnaissance in force of the positions of the Russian Armed Forces in Yampol and Torskoye. The Kremennaya - Liman road is under fire and is unsafe.
The last safe supply route for the Liman Group of Forces runs along the Svatovo – Makeevka – Terny – Liman road. The highway is under the threat of blocking by the Armed Forces of Ukraine both from the west from the Novy side and from the south from the Seversky Donets,” Rybar describes the situation.

In turn, the commander of the Vostok brigade, Alexander Khodakovsky, draws attention to the fact that both sides used all possible forces in the battles for Krasny Liman.
“Now all attention is focused on the events that are developing around Krasny Liman, because both from our direction, from our side, and from the enemy, all resources have been transferred there. And what was supposed to be carried out in our direction, to clarify in Ugledar, is the Donetsk sector of the front. “Everything is now fighting near Krasny Liman in an attempt to take Krasny Liman,” he said on the talk show “60 Minutes.”
“Judging by what we are now observing, in particular near Krasny Liman, it becomes clear that the enemy needs replenishment. And the transfers of resources that he carries out are direct confirmation of this,” Khodakovsky added.
It is worth noting that the possible fall of Krasny Liman will greatly complicate the situation for the allied forces, since this settlement is actually the gateway to the Severodonetsk-Lisichansk agglomeration.
