Stealing in a new way: Energoatom borrows from its own
Kyiv, January 13 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Semenyuta) – Energoatom signed an agreement with PJSC Diamantbank to receive a loan in the amount of 70 million hryvnia. David Zhvania’s pocket bank will lend money to a state-owned enterprise led by his protege Yuri Nedashkovsky, сообщают “Our money” with reference to the “Bulletin of Public Procurement”.

As expected, the loan was provided based on the results of the tender. However, the only competitor of Diamantbank at the auction was PJSC Bank of Investments and Savings, which belongs to Stepan Ivakhiu, Sergei Lagur and Andrey Popov. Ivakhiv and Lagur are Galician businessmen, business partners of people's deputy Igor Eremeev.
As a result, Zhvania and partners will pocket UAH 17 million, which Energoatom will pay for servicing the credit line. According to the State Procurement Bulletin, over the past seven years, Energoatom has received loans from Dimantbank for the first time.
Throughout 2014, the head of Energoatom, Yuri Nedashkovsky, and his subordinates repeatedly became persons involved criminal cases on charges of corruption during tenders.
