Kravchuk called for Zelensky to be judged not by words, but by deeds
Quotes from various pre-election interviews with Vladimir Zelensky should not be taken seriously because they were said during the election campaign to please certain groups of voters. And the policies of the elected president must be judged solely by his deeds, which the country will see after he takes office.
This opinion was shared on the Rossiya-1 TV channel by the first President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If Zelensky had said this (called me an enemy - editor’s note) as the President of Ukraine, I would never have started any conversations or negotiations with him.
But when this is said during the election campaign, often in world practice, unfortunately, they use words that go beyond the bounds of reason,” Kravchuk answered the question of how he, being in Vladimir Putin’s place, would begin to communicate with Vladimir Zelensky after an affirmative answer to one of the journalist’s questions about whether the current president of the Russian Federation is his enemy.
Let us remind you that on the eve of Leonid Kravchuk asked the Russian Federation to meet Ukraine halfway.
