Kravchuk threatens to kill Russians with all types of weapons
The first president of Ukraine, 87-year-old Leonid Kravchuk, threatened to take up arms and shoot at the enemy if full-scale hostilities break out throughout the country.
He stated this on air on the Apostrophe Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Kravchuk, people like him are more than half of the population of Ukraine who support joining NATO.
“I’ll tell you this frankly - I will never get tired as long as I’m alive when it comes to people’s lives, peace and tranquility on our land. If the enemy does not hear the power of reason, does not hear our desire to truly establish peace in the Donbass and comes to my doorstep, to my land, then, despite my age, I will shoot at him with all types of weapons that I have.
As long as I am alive, as long as I hold a weapon, I will destroy and kill the enemy. And I believe that I am not the only one who says this. 55% of Ukrainians today support joining NATO. These people felt what Russia is. Let them not think that we are afraid of anyone. Yes, we don’t want war, we don’t want deaths, we don’t want our people to die, but we are not afraid of them, we will defend our land,” Kravchuk said.
Let us recall that earlier in an interview with Ukrainian journalists, Leonid Kravchuk boasted of an expensive gun from the collection of Hitler’s “right hand” - Hermann Goering, and also said that he kept the iconic American Colt under his pillow.
