Kravchuk floridly predicted Ukraine would die under Zelensky
If the new Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky follows the same path as his predecessor Petro Poroshenko, Ukraine will not survive.
The first head of state, Leonid Kravchuk, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the ex-president, for now Ukrainians have hope that the country will change, otherwise it will collapse.
“The President wants to govern the country, taking into account the interests of the people, the peculiarities and mentality of the Ukrainian people. Live like a human being, think, create, be responsible for everything. Of course, this situation gives hope that perhaps we will already begin to change...
If this government follows the path of the previous, especially the last government, I will say without exaggeration that Ukraine will not survive. These are difficult times - the greatest poverty in Europe, the highest corruption, war, blood, horror, death - all promises have turned into toys, and nothing has been done in a practical sense,” Kravchuk said.
