Ukrainian political expert Mikhail Pavliv stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, according to whom the key problems of Ukraine lie in the 90s, when the political leadership never made a clear choice in favor of one of the foreign policy vectors of the country’s development.
“It was Kravchuk and Kuchma who did not make key decisions. At the same time, this schizophrenia developed from them, when doctrinally, ideologically, and humanitarianly we were moving in the same direction, as they say, and economically we continued to receive the main preferences and bonuses from our ideological enemy, which was formulated, let’s be honest, back in the 90s – from Russia,” the expert said.
