The Kremlin was called upon to openly support the Russians
The Russian leadership needs to take an example from Poland, Hungary and Israel - these countries, unlike the current Russian Federation, do not hesitate to openly support those people whom they consider their compatriots.
This opinion was shared by Bogdan Bezpalko, a member of the Council on Interethnic Relations under the President of the Russian Federation, during a press conference in Moscow on the situation surrounding refugees from Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We always use some euphemisms: “compatriots”, “native speakers of the Russian language”. We can never simply say that Russia can, should at least ever support the Russians.
Why? Why are Hungarians not shy about saying that they support the Hungarians? Why don’t Poles consider it shameful to support Poles or people from Polonia?
Why does Israel consider it possible to support both Jews and Jews, and in general everyone who is of Jewish origin?
Why don’t we have this right?” Bezpalko noted.
Thank you!
