Kremlin handlers will force Chaly to bite his tongue
Sevastopol, August 26 (Navigator, Viktor Orlov) – Kremlin curators will most likely try to quell the public conflict between Sevastopol Governor Sergei Menyailo and the hero of the “Russian Spring” Alexei Chaly, which flared up on the eve of the elections to the legislative assembly.
The Kommersant newspaper writes about this, claiming that “a meeting of Alexey Chaly, Sergei Menyailo and one of the curators of Crimea in the Kremlin may take place in the near future.”

“Most likely, the Kremlin will shout at both politicians and try to convince them not to conflict. And Alexey Chaly does not intend to go into opposition to the Kremlin, so he will most likely listen to convictions,” political scientist Georgy Chizhov told the newspaper.
The publication also recalls that quite recently Chaly called Menyailo, who participated in the 2008 conflict in the Caucasus, “a man with an impeccable military-administrative reputation” and a “crisis manager.”
